What? Now where did this Zelda news come from? July 31, 2004, 1:48 AM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: This totally went by me and no major sites updated about it until today on Zelda Legends. So, the secondary source is them. It seems that at the beginning of the month, Nintendo announced a third line of Famicom Mini games. And this time, "Link no Bouken" made it to the title. For those of you not Japanese-title savvy, that would be Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. The games are scheduled for Japan release on August 10th when the second line ends. No American release date yet... that I know of. ::Looks around:: If I missed this, I might have missed that too.
Commentary: XD Can anyone say "HAPPY!" I dearly hope they bring this one over to America. Chances are they will, and I will DEFINITELY be buying it. I have played Legend of Zelda on my old NES, but either it has a problem with AoL or the cartridge is damaged because - I can't save and it freezes without warning. And... uhhh *cough* you don't really want to know my skills with a ROM and using a keyboard as a controller pad. (They suck!) So *_* with this, Max's hopes of playing this fantastic game are very bright. ~_~ And no, I couldn't buy the Zelda bonus disk seeing as how I don't have a Gamecube.

A tiny update but I don't have anything else ready July 30, 2004, 2:16 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: However, it's still an important update, at least in my eyes. ^_^ Please welcome new affiliate Zelda Connection! ^_^ Wah! I gotta compliment this site. It's really very gorgeous and I think the webmaster has done a WONDERFUL job. I found it after visiting a series of sites, browsing through fan art, and when I saw it XD I had to ask to affiliate! I also like the WebMaster's attitude that she displayed in an update. Go get 'em, Sheena! LOL. Well, great job to her and I expect we'll be hearing more about the site as it continues to grow.
Commentary: *Sigh* Actually, somehow, truth be told, when I crossed the site and read that update, I kinda got a blast of nostalgia. That was me three years ago! ^_^ It kinda refreshed my own attitude a little, and with the folks back today, I'm going to need it. The time I do get the computer is going to be spent more on updates rather than chatting. Lots of work to do. ^_^; Especially putting up my poor Staff's materials.

This is so against my better judgement - gah! July 30, 2004, 12:29 AM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Going so against my better judgement and not even too sure yet that I really do want to post them up, but I have, backed by popular demand, put up the E3 trailers for Minish Cap and Realistic Zelda. They can be found in the new page under "Legends of Zelda" titled "Media Trailers and Videos." Oh and, yeah, this was an unexpected very spontaneous update and you know what -_- I worked on it instead of the planned update. >_< Gah don't hurt me. ~ Oh and last minute correction. Camp Hyrule registration ends tomorrow at 4 PM. Not today like I had originally thought. ^_^; My bad. I was re-reading some stuff when I saw that.
Commentary: I feel now that I owe an apology to someone that I rather roughly chewed out in an e-mail. The person simply suggested that he had the Zelda Cartoons and Trailers and wondered if I would want to put them up. I sorta rather undelicately told him "no" since you can get both in other places and the cartoons is just a no anyway since that's copyright infringement, but more importantly both can be found in different places while I hope to conserve bandwidth since I'm sorta "leeching" off of my host. However, what kind of Zelda site would I be if I didn't have the trailers that are so talked about, and - well, if I start to worry about bandwidth - and if David gives me a very nasty e-mail - I'll be taking them down. Enjoy them. *Sigh* Please be kind to my bandwidth. T-T Save them to your comp, don't re-download them over and over. Oh and, sorry to Logan for my slight rudeness. ;) But, no, no Z cartoons. Thank you.

Actually, I thought it was kinda fascinating July 29, 2004, 12:35 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Ok, today's update: The Legend of Zelda *Screenshots of the Game Added. ~ Today is the last day to register for Camp Hyrule. Come on! Me and Devilitchi are going to be participating ^_^ and he's done this for the last four years and has me very excited. You MUST join. ~ Also, don't forget the poll and the forums.
Commentary: Well, she didn't bolt out of the chair, though she had her eyes shut tight. So, she now has a naval piercing. Devilitchi thought it was disgusting? Actually, I thought it was kinda kewl. ^_^; Uhh, *cough* I won't pursue that - but don't get the wrong idea! I mean the piercing was kewl not the fact that she got it done anyway. I think naval piercings are so NASTY.
So, have you guys seen the updated DS design? Looks kinda kewl. It will prolly change, though. And DS is now it's official name. I guess they got lazy and couldn't figure up a name that sounded any better. But, anyways, my next update might be a little bit slower. I have a new page to do from Dethl'sShadow and then my own next update is going to be a full strategy page. The last one for the LttP section. T-T It's going to be finished. I'll have shared all of my expertise with the Link to the Past game. *Sigh* Well, Tata!

Walkthrough Section V Added July 29, 2004, 3:51 AM EST by Devilitchi
Updates: Section V Added To The OoT Walkthrough! Look for Section VI to be added very soon. Oh, and don't blame me for the walkthrough being added so late *points to Maxine*.
Commentary: Hehe, I saw Maxine's "Belly Button Piercing" rant and I just had to reply :) My sister got her's done too last year, and I stood there watching it. It was the nastiest thing in the world. I mean, I'm not afraid of needles or anything like that and I have tattoos so places like that don't freak me out. But - when (notice: if you have a weak stomach, you might wanna stop reading) you watch a needle being pushed up through someones belly button...you'll never forget it. I'll never watch anything like that again, I felt like I was watching my sister get killed or something. Anyways - best of luck to you Maxine ^_^ hehehe! Camp Hyrule is definitely going to be a blast, I'll be "mrdeaddoll" so if you see me, say hello! :)

Heheh, the parents are now gone - party? July 28, 2004, 2:12 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: You guys really should have expected this sooner or later, especially since I made the pages for the two upcoming games during E3. Zelda II: Adventure of Link *Screenshots of the Game Added! Why did I start with AoL? Well, actually, 'cause the pictures were submitted by staff member Devilitchi. ^_^ I had planned to get some myself but he suddenly gave them to me one day (a hint?). I might snag some more, who knows, but each section is going to get screenshots added. ~ Next, Link's Infinite List of Torture *Item 119 by The Other Link. ^_^ Always nice doing business with you guys. ~ Also, don't forget to register for Camp Hyrule. Registration ends tomorrow.
Commentary: ::Looks around:: >:] The parents are gone. MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Too bad I'm not into parties. -_- And too bad I've been neglecting my site or I might have actually spent the time writting. :\ And too bad they didn't take my littl 11 year old sister with them. >_> She had better not expect me to entertain her or anything. <_<; *Sigh* Ok, so not the most perfect "parent get-away" plan, but I suppose it's the best I can do under the circumstances.
And you want to know what's worse. Somehow my 18 year old sister talked our parents into lettering her get her belly button pierced and (since she doesn't want to go alone) I've got to attend this rather barbaric ceremony to stick a piece of metal through your skin. And of course, that means the 11 year old must be dragged off with us since we can't leave her home alone. What a lovely little family outting. But then, I have a few suspiciouns that Athena (her SN) is going to jump so fast out of that chair when they come at her with that needle that we won't even know where she went. XD LOL. She's terrified of needles. What "is" she thinking. *Sigh* I give up.
Whatever. However, I'm going to be paying close attention to those needles and the way the place looks. If it looks unfit in any way (dust on the counter or in the corners), she's outta there. I don't trust places like that. You want to know how easy it is to contract some deadly virus from places like that? Ok, I'm going to stop rambling now and get off *sigh*. Yeah, I think piercings of any sort is barbaric and remenisent of the old "witch-doctor" days.

A tiny reminder - Camp Hyrule registration July 27, 2004, 6:26 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Ok, here's a tiny little reminder that I nearly forgot about. Registration for Camp Hyrule starts today and will continue through until the 29th. Hrrrm, I think I'll sign up this time, too. It will be my own first trip. The camp starts August 16.
Commentary: For those you of you who are unsure what it's all about - Camp Hyrule, to my knowledge (I've never participated either) is a place for people to come and talk about Z games as well as chat with some of the creators. I'm not so sure but I believe there's games involved a little as well. LOL, like I said, I don't know much about it myself but it's a REALLY big to-do thing. I'm going to try to get registered myself and try to participate. ::Shrugs:: Couldn't hurt anyway, I guess. And it's FREE, that's always a VERY big plus. Edit: LOL, obviously my explanation of the Camp "sucked" so, just read the page for yourself to get a better understanding of it than I could ever provide.
Oh, but at the time I made this post, the registration was down due to some technical difficulties. :\ So, I dunno. Let's keep our eyes open, and I'm going to hope I don't forget about it myself later on.
Update: Ok, ^_^ registration was activated and I'm now registered. Hooray for me! ;) I'll be Maxine_MagicFox of course - that's what I had already had previously when I signed up on Nintendo.com. ::shrugs::

A late but final tribue to my buddy Nexus *sniffle* July 27, 2004, 1:40 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Ok, the main update for today is The Zelda Poll has been updated with a new question and answers. ^_^ Ok, I'm sorry but while I think the realistic Zelda game is going to be "awesome", I think that The Minish Cap is dramatically being overshadowed and truth be told - I'm more excited for it than the realistic game. I like the cutsies! ~ The other thing was that the affiliate links were updated and cleaned out a little. Well, that is to say my good friend Nathan's site (Zelda Domain) is now located at a new address with a BEAUTIFUL new design and T-T my other good friend's site is now gone. Please read the commentary for more info about that.
Commentary: By now, most of you have heard all about it, and I'm sorry that I was not able to pay better tribute on that day, but I've been very busy. Better late than never, though. My good friend, Nexus Zero, closed his website Zelda Elements. ZE was honestly my own fave Z site (below mine, though - ha!) and I really looked up to it and hoped to one day really compete with it. Nexus himself was kinda kewl and I wish more web-masters were like him - not so stuck up and egotistical (except when he's doing it on purpose).
However, the gang of the forums, including another good friend of mine, Dejital (Deji-nichan!), have opened up another site on the gamespy server, hoping to live up to Zelda Elements (or maybe just to have some fun themselves). Honestly, I'm a bit of a skeptic about how well it's going to turn out, but heck, I'll give them the hand up they need and give them the support they need (and when they fall flat on their face I'll be there to laugh ^_^). So, be sure to visit Deji-ni's site: Obelisk of Hyrule.
*By the way, for those of you who don't know Japanese, "-ni" is an abbreviate for brother and nichan means "little brother". ::Glomps Deji-ni:: He's the little brother I never had and that I love to pick on. Which reminds me, I haven't been to the remaining forums in quite a loooong time.

Well, when I said later, I didn't mean this early.... July 26, 2004, 1:35 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Ok, as I told you I would, I posted up that notice in the Observations page. The notice is in the form of a red asterik with a note down near the form. Hopefully this will cut back on the things submitted and my explanations. ~ Next, however, is something I'm sure a lot of you will LOVE since it pertains to the #1 most loved thing on MCLoZ. ^_^ We have 7 new midis in the MCLoZ Midi Player! That's 232 files now loaded up for your pure enjoyment. The new tracks are: (LttP) Four Swords: 1 new midi, TWW: 3 new midis, and ::drum roll:: Super Smash Bros. Melee section opens with 3 midis. Don't get the wrong idea. For the SSB games I'm only putting up ZELDA RELATED tunes.
Commentary: Feel free to shower me with praise. ^_^; Or... not. Well, I know many people love the player and I myself do as well. Oh and about the Oddities things. The notice was only placed on the "Observations" page. That's the only one I have issues with. I don't mind endless glitches and tricks because those do change, but the observations page includes those theories and when I get some of the most rediculous half-baked ideas in the mail and have to put them on my site... I tend to think "I could use this space for something else!" So, this is my way of putting a leash on it to prevent the idiocy from going "too" far. Meh, I'm sure that will offend a few people, but I think they'll get over it. It is idiocy to rant on and on about something in a "video game" that is more than likely the producers not thinking things through before they put it in. Anyways, I'm off. I'm hungry. Enjoy the midis everyone! Hrrrm, I wonder when people are going to start making Four Swords Adventures midis. I'm interested in adding those. ^_^ More midis to put up in my player. If anyone has a link to such midis don't hesitate to send it in, please.

Emptying my mailbox as promised - Part 2 July 26, 2004, 12:01 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Ok. Phew. Now that I've put everything up, let's see if I can list it right. Here we go. Zelda Oddities and Secrets - Glitches *MM: "Warp Anywhere With Epona" by Sidescroller and "Drowned Plant?" by theatrebrad | TWW: "A Lot of Soup" by juanP. Zelda Oddities and Secrets - Observations *OoT "Gerudo Sneaking" by Links Chika and "Nayru's Not-Love" by The Other Link | TWW: "Zoras Just Hiding" by DarkBlade Sheikah. And last but not least, after I finished last night's update of Torture Items, I check my mail and find a new one. ^_^ If only he had been an hour ealier. But here it is Link's Infinite List of Torture *Item #118 by Silver.
Commentary: Now there were two Oddities I didn't post up. I haven't e-mailed those people yet. But later today you'll probably see another update about the Zelda Secrets and Oddities section. There's a few topics (i.e. In OoT Ruto's Bottle) that have been over labored and I don't want the page to be overrun by them, so I stopped posting topics about them. LOL, at the time I did that I made an update about it, but of course, that was only a year ago. So, I'm going to put up notes on those topics on the pages to get the point across. ^_^ So, that's scheduled for later today.
Yeah, I'm free today. Isn't that nice? My mom is asleep, my dad and sister is at work, and my little sister is at a church function of some sort with a friend. I kinda wish I had a job at this point but I guess it's good for MCLoZ. ::Shrugs:: I'll get a job... someday -_- *sniffle*.
Anyways, I'm done with my mailbox stuff, with the exception of one or two e-mail replies I have to write out. So, my mailbox is empty! ^_^ That's a good thing. That was a LOT of e-mails. 10 LILoT Items and 9 Oddities (three that weren't put up but still count). That's 19 e-mails altogether plus the extra stuff I have to reply to, then my friends and other things that I get e-mails about. o_O It all adds up fairly quick. Wah! ^_^;

Emptying my mailbox as promised - Part 1 July 25, 2004, 7:08 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Link's Infinite List of Torture *Items 107-117 by Santa, Drake, Anonymous, Joseph, ShadowLore, Nemesis II, and The Other Link. More updates likely to follow either later tonight or maybe tomorrow. I'm trying here, don't push me, ok.
Commentary: Books! ::Glomp:: I love books so much. They are so precious to me. T-T I long for the day that I get to see my own first novel published. *Sigh* But I first have to write it, huh? Which I am. After finally getting my notes straight and making a beginning I'm very satisfied with, my story is now on its way. I'm very confident that this is the Final Version and I'm going to stick with this. But *sigh* tonight, I will sacrifice my writing time in honor of MCLoZ which is in drastic need of updates. Meh, well, I spent from 11 AM today (when I got out of the shower) to about 6 PM in front of the TV doing nothing but writing and making final preparations with the ending (which was what took up most of the day since things weren't connecting just right with what I wanted to happen in the fourth/fifth chapter and the "final fight"). So, I think my mind is in need of a break. ...Umm.. ^_^; Don't kill me if I change my mind at the last minute. You know how those sudden writing urges just creep right up on you. Err ::walks away::

Back long enough to reveal new Z news July 24, 2004, 1:23 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: *Sigh* Updates are scarce, sorry. I'm hoping that I'll soon be able to take time out at least to empty my mailbox. ^_^ Sorry guys. I'm trying. But right now, the spotlight isn't on me. It's on the updated Zelda News Menu above. In a recent interview with Nintendo's spanish speaking website, Club Nintendo, Eiji Aonuma, one of the producers of Zelda, releases some new insight on plans for a Zelda game for the upcoming DS system. It seems Four Swords will be making a third console appearance. This should be intriguing. Not much else was revealed, but the entire interview is definitely worth a look. And, if you aren't capable of speaking spanish, you can find a transcript at GameCube Advance.
Commentary: I wonder if its a "remake" or if it's a whole new full game itself. Well, I have to hurry off. Like I said, try to expect some updates this week, but no serious promises guys. I'm trying. ^_^; I really am. *Sigh* Meh, whenever I do manage to get on the computer I mostly spend it chatting, and even then I've made an annoying habbit of having to get off after about 10 minutes. T-T Stop it!
Oh, btw, in case you guys missed it, I got a huge kick out of the question asked to Aonuma "What's your favorite Zelda game, and why?" and he answered with "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past". Aonuma, you have no idea but you have earned a deeper respect from a strange fox-like creature. ^_^ There's a person that knows his games. <3 LttP FOREVER!

Umm, I guess I have been away for a little... July 11, 2004, 8:21 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: *None
Commentary: And you're prolly going to kick my butt when you realize what this chat is about. *Cough* Well, I guess with work slow around MCLoZ I've been a little... bored? So, I came up with a little idea.
My new website! Anime Blog! Uhhh o_o don't kill me. *Cough* Actually, it's a very tiny, lay back sort of site. ^_^ No hard work will be done on it. It's just for absolute fun. So, MCLoZ still comes first. Meh, I don't even know how many people will visit it. I guess not many. Meh, but I don't really care. I made it more for myself than for anyone. ::Shrugs:: It's just me doing what I do best. Ranting!! So, well, anyways. Most of my work the next week will more than likely be dedicated to that, just out of excitement of doing it. ::Shrugs:: But, it's not like I really have too much to do thus far on MCLoZ. ^_^ So, see you around! Anyways, you can find it at http://aniblog.mcloz.net!

Huh? What? July 3, 2004, 12:05 AM EST by Dethl'sShadow

My refuge while I wait for an open computer July 1, 2004, 1:28 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Ok, welcome to the month of July. And I shall start off by emptying my mail box (sort of). First, Zelda Secrets and Oddities - Glitches *ZCE: "Who's Up For Doggie Soccer?" by ChameleonLizard3. Zelda Secrets and Oddities - Observations *TWW: "Zora/Rito Conspiracy?" by Parker. Second, Link's Infinite List of Torture *Items 104-106 by gerudo_goddess, Creeps, and Whatever. And finally, The Beta Zelda Files - Comments by Fans *OoT File 15 by DarkBlade Sheikah, and OoT File 43 by Rob. Ok, that's it. Next will be those poor pages by my staff that I still haven't gotten around to.
Commentary: Books... ^_^ I love reading so much. *Sigh* Even if it's reading manga. That counts, too. I would have to say that my favorite book is Polgara the Sorceress by David Eddings. LOL, and you should see this poor book. Paperback and bought in my last year of Middle School (I graduated HS in 2004 for those that don't know). So, it's been around. I've read it through (yeah, all 700+ pages) about... twenty times. The poor cover is about to fall off. I can't read the back cover of it, anymore. And the pages are "well-turned" I guess is how you would call it. LOL, and there's even a few passages I underlined because I liked the description and refer to them whenever I need a little help in describing something. ^_^ The other day, my sister said I should go out and buy a new one. I'm like "Why? It will just become delapidated again. Plus, it's comfy this way." So, anyways, the last few days, while I wait for the computer to be free, you know what I'm more than likely doing. Re-reading Polgara the Sorceress. Why do I like the book so much? Because Pol, though a story character, is the kind of person I would like to become. Almost cold in appearance, but maybe not ^_^. Meh, you go read the book and you'll understand her a little more.
