Full Mask Collection

1. Postman's Mask -

   This Mask is received when you are completing the reunion of Anju and Kafei in the Bombers' Notebook. You will receive a letter on Day 3 to give to Madame Aroma. However, if you head over to the Postman's Office and ask him to deliver it, and talk to him after he is done, he will give you his hat. Use this mask to look into mailboxes.

2. Keaton Mask -

   On Day 3 this mask is given to you when you follow Anju and Kafei's reunion in the Bombers' Notebook. This mask will allow you to summon Keaton to receive the Piece of Heart he gives you.

3. Romani's Mask -

   On Day 2, if you have successfully protected the cows from being stolen, Cremia will take their shipment of Chateau Romani to two at 6:00 p.m.. Hitch a ride with her and protect her wagon from the bandits that will try to ambush the cart. You can do this easily if you have the Circus Leader's Mask.

4. Kamaro's Mask -

   In north Termina Field, on all three nights from midnight to 6 a.m., you can catch a ghost dancer by the name of Karamo on a rock. You can't really miss him since he is playing music you can hear. Play the Song of Healing and he will give you his mask. Take the mask to the Rosa Sisters who are in West Clock Town at night on Days 1 and 2. Show them the dance and they will give you a Piece of Heart.

5. All-Night Mask -

   First, you must stop Sakon from robbing the Old Woman from the Bomb Shop on Day 1 at 12:30 in North Clock Town. Then, on Day 3 this 500 rupee mask will go up for sale. This mask is necessary if you want to get the two Heart Pieces from Anju's grandmother in the Stock Pot Inn.

6. Bremen Mask -

   Head over to the Laundry Pool in Clock Town at night on either Day 1 or 2 and listen to Guru-Guru. Use this mask when you are over at Grog's chicken coup, put the mask on and march around to gather all the chicks. When you do, they mature, just as Grog has wanted.

7. Circus Leader's Mask -

   Must have all of the character masks. Go to the Milk Bar in East Clock Tow on Day 1 or 2 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.. Wear each mask and follow Toto's instructions. Eventually, you will have completed all parts for the "Ballad of the WindFish" (Z4 anyone?). After you play this, Gorman will break into tears and give you this mask. Its purpose...the next time you ride with Cremia and the Gorman brothers attack, wear it...it will make your job much easier.

8. Gibdo Mask -

   In Ilkana Valley in the Music Box house. Wait until Pamela comes out and sneak into the house. Go downstairs to be confronted with ... a half turned Gibdo. Quickly play the Song of Healing before Pamela returns and kicks you out. Wearing this mask will allow you to talk to the Gibdos in the wells and to be left alone by them.

9. Blast Mask -

   Stop Sakon from stealing from the Old Lady from the Bomb Shop. The robbery will take place at 12:30 on Day 1. She will give you this mask in return for the favor.

10. Bunny Hood -

    This mask is connected with the Bremen Mask. If you play the music at the Cucco Shack and fully mature them, Grog will give you this mask in return. Good for two things: wear it for speed (alien shooting mostly since Epona isn't exactly the best thing in the way of control) and for the Postman's timing game! (However...if you cannot beat that game without this mask you are pretty pathetic. ;) I am a full expert now!)

11. Kafei's Mask -

    Visit Madame Aroma in the Mayor's Residence between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Days 1 and 2. She will ask you to talk to the townsfolk about Kafei. The only way to do that is to wear this mask. (Necessary for completeing the Kafei and Anju reunion in Bombers' Notebook.)

12. Garo's Mask -

    Race the Gorman brothers on any day to receive it. Necessary for getting into Ikana Valley and for drawing up Garos to receive a few hints.

13. Stone Mask -

    Outside Ikana Canyon there will be a circle of stones. Use the Lens of Truth to find an overlooked soldier named Shiro. Give him a Red or Blue Potion and he will give you this mask in return. One of the more prized masks of the game. This mask makes it so that NO enemy can see you...good for the Pirates in Great Bay when you must collect the Zora Eggs...no?

14. Don Gero's Mask -

    Must have the Goron Mask and the Goron Lullaby (or at least the intro). Put the crying Goron babe to sleep in the Goron Village and light all of the torches to make the chandelier move. Now, crash into each by using the Goron roll and the ramp that is conveniently placed outside the bedroom. When you have broken all vases, you will receive the Rock Sirloin. Carry it to the hungry and trapped Goron. In return, he will give you the mask. This mask is used to get a Heart Container.

15. Couple's Mask -

    Complete the long process of reuniting the lovers Anju and Kafei and you will get this lovely reward. (Check Bombers' Notebook under Anju or Kafei to learn how to get it.) Then, go play it in front of Mayor Dotour for a Heart Piece. (More info in that section...)

16. Captain's Hat -

    In the Ikana Graveyard stuck in the house. Play the Sonata of Awakening to awaken Captain Keeta. Catch up to him by slowing him down with arrows and fighting Stalchildren (this was hard for me...) Eventually, fight him and when you win he will soothe the fires. to the chest that contains this mask and will take his final bow. Use this mask to avoid the Stalchildren. Use it to have them open up the graves or to talk to the Stalchildren in the Oceanside Spider House to receive a Heart Piece.

17. Great Fairy's Mask -

    Return the Stray Fairy to The Great Fairy in North Clock Town as Link and she will give you this. This mask is only good for one thing...and it is a good thing....CATCHING STRAY FAIRIES!! Call it a Stray Fairy magnet. If the fairies are free, they will drift right to you and the mask's hair will tell you if there are any fairies in that particular room. (It will glow and sparkle.)

18. Mask of Scents -

    Return the Deku Princess and head over to the right (looking at it) side of the Deku Palace. Once in, enjoy the race with the butler. This mask is good for sniffing out mushroosm which appear in a purple mist and must be caught via bottle. Take it to Kotake in the Southern Swamp and she will create the Ultimate Magic Potion for you. (Heals both health and magic.)

19. Mask of Truth -

    Complete the Southern Swamp Spider House. Wear this to talk to Gossip Stones for hints and to pick up dogs to hear their thoughts. The latter of which is good in the dog races at Romani Ranch.

20. Giant's Mask -

    You get it inside the Stone Tower Temple (upside-down) by defeating the Eyegore a few rooms before you reach the boss. This mask is only good in one room and for one thing: to defeat the boss: TwinMold. It drains magic while you wear it, so be careful (take along some Chateau Romani).

21. Deku Mask -

    Get it by attempting to get Majora's Mask, however, when you fail and are forced to play the Song of Time, revisit the Happy Mask Seller and he will teach you the Song of Healing and you will be cured of the Deku curse and receive this mask. Turns you into a Deku Scrub.

22. Goron Mask -

    Visit the Goron Village and once you have the Lens of Truth search for a ghost who will ask you to follow him. Follow him and cure his sadness with the Song of Healing and you will receive this mask. It turns you into a Goron.

23. Zora Mask -

    Visit the Great Bay Coast and in the water you will find a dieing Zora. Save him and play the Song of Healing for him and as he passes away, you will receive this mask. Turns you into a Zora. (Honestly....that comment on these three masks was sorta redundant, no?)

24. Fierce Deity's Mask -

    Adult Link? Or...what....and is this mask as bad as Majora's Mask is? Well...I seemed to handle it pretty well. Receive it by completing all of the Moon Dugeons (for which all masks are required). This mask will make the fight with Majora a slice of cake...if not easier...in fact, disappointingly easier. Still, at least with this mask you get a version of the "lightning beam" attack all Zelda games had but for Z5.
